 veterinary diagnostic lab

Currently in the schematic design phase and expected to be completed in 2008, the new Louisiana Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab (LaVMDL) is proposed to be a two story concrete structure building to be located to the north of the existing LSU Veterinary Medical School.  The new facility will provide full service diagnostic services, including pathology, histopathology, microbiology, virology, serology, electron microscopy and toxicology. The total gross square footage is estimated to be 56,915 sq. ft. with energy efficient shading devices and large overhangs to assist with solar cooling.
